As the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. What starts as a small leak can quickly morph into much costlier damage if not quickly taken care of. This can cause leaks to worsen, water damage in your home, mold to develop in the air your family breathes, and potential damage to your decking. The importance of timely roof repairs truly can’t be overstated.
Different types of roofing materials react differently to weather, storms, and age. Tile for instance can easily be damaged by hail, and can crack from temperature fluctuations as well. Three tab shingle roofs can suffer from “peeling” from heavy winds. Calling a local Camden roofing contractor to take a look at any leaks as they develop can save you money, and extend the life of your roof.
Typical Causes for Roof Repair:
- Leaks from roof
- Leaks stemming from flashing, chimney or pipe collars
- Damaged, missing, curling, broken shingles
- Fascia or soffit wind damage
- Rotting wood in your roof (causes sagging)
- Collapsed roof
- Damaged roof vents
- Ridge vents

A Camden Roofing Contractor You Can Rely On
You want a contractor that understands the urgency of your roofing project. A damaged roof can result in damaged property, and the longer it prolongs, the worse it can get. You want a skilled, and honest roofer that understands multiple roofing systems to be able to help with your unique roofing situation.
Whether it is a leak stemming from your flashing, blocked gutters, chimney leak, missing shingles, plumbing penetrations, pitch pans, counter flashings, your roofer should be professional and accountable for whatever the task may be. A technician will thoroughly evaluate your roof, and help you to identify what your options are. If you have a newer roof that was only recently installed, it may simply be a minor repair job.
However, if you have an older roof, your roof may not be a candidate for roof repairs. In that case, a technician will explain potential roof replacement options, and can discuss financing options. The older a roof becomes, the more challenging it becomes to provide patch-work repairs and provide long-term results.
You want a roofer that provides excellent craftsmanship, workmanship, materials, AND communication for following up with you during the entire process.
Camden is a town in Kent County, Delaware, United States. It is part of the Dover, Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,464 at the 2010 census.
Camden was established in 1783 as a community originally known as Mifflin’s Crossroads. The community of Mifflin’s Crossroads was a Quaker settlement laid out by Daniel Mifflin on the Piccadilly tract. The town originally gained some commercial trade through wharves in nearby Forest Landing and Lebanon on the St. Jones River. From these wharves, regular boat service connected the area to Philadelphia and New York City, with local merchants shipping cordwood, staves, grain, and Spanish-oak bark. The Delaware Railroad was built through nearby Wyoming in the 1850s and expanded the market for local farm products, bringing increased prosperity to Camden. The town has numerous historic properties and part of it is designated as the Camden Historic District. In addition, Brecknock, Camden Friends Meetinghouse, Star Hill AME Church, and Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church are all listed individually on the National Register of Historic Places.
