Ellendale Roof Installation Experts
If you’re building a new house, or have an aging home, you may be looking for a roofing contractor that can help you properly install a beautiful new roof. A quality roof is one of the most important parts of your home, as it protects everything inside. An asphalt shingle roof should last 12 – 20 years, however if there are storms, or the initial craftsmanship was below standard, it may mean that you need to have a new roof installed sooner than planned.
Waterproof Roof Installations
The primary purpose of a roof is to shed water, and protect your family and belongings safe from the elements. A professional Ellendale roofing company will have earned a reputation for waterproof roof installations, as a roofer is judged by how well their work holds up during storms and rainfall.
This is why it’s important to hire a licensed, insured, local roofer. Someone that takes pride in their reputation, which reflects in their craftsmanship, workmanship, and quality of the materials that they use.
Roof Installation Process
If your roof is in need of a roof replacement, and you decide to hire a contractor to help install your new roof, the first phase will be agreeing to terms on your estimate and scope of work. Your roofer should review line by line what will be involved, all costs, and the materials that will be used. If gutters and siding are going to be installed or replaced, that should also be detailed in this proposal and contract. If you are requesting a green roof, or specialty solutions like copper or aluminum this should also be detailed.

Ellendale is a town in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. The population was 381 at the 2010 census, an increase of 16.5% since 2000. It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ellendale is the “Gateway to Delaware’s Resort Beaches” because it is the town located on U.S. Highway 113, the resort area’s westernmost border, and Delaware Route 16, the resort area’s northernmost border with the eastern border being the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean and the southern border being the state line with Maryland.
Ellendale started as a forest and swamp on the divide between the Chesapeake Bay and Delaware Bay. The swamp was the hunting grounds of the Nanticoke Indian Tribe until they were driven out by the Lenni Lenape Tribe on the Battle Green near Chestnut Ridge, a hill on Ellendale’s north side. The Lenape Trace, a main thoroughfare of a trail, passed through Ellendale as a Native American trade route from Pocomoke City, Maryland to Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. With the arrival of Europeans, the Ellendale area was a province of fur traders and hunters. Early in the 18th century, farming and timbering pushed back the swamp that once covered the area. The tract of land on which the town would later be built was originally deeded in 1740 as “Bennett’s Pleasure”.
